It is well established by the experience of Masters of Spirituality that when practiced appropriately they do lead to creation of Allah’s love (muhabbat).
These are.. 1.Excessive remembrance of Allah (swt) 2.Observance of Sunnah, in all matters Keeping company with pious(Those who already have this strong relationship with Allah) (Ahlul-Allah) 3.Being thankful for the bounties of Allah. At the same time reflecting about our attitude in regards to them. 4.Being steadfast in following the rulings of Shariah. 5.Making Dua a lot. All these are to be carried out simultaneously. This will, InshaAllah, create a strong bond between the slave (abd) and his Master (Allah). This bond/relationship/love is the objective of our path. It is the driving soul for true observance of Shariah. Rasulullah (Sallellaho Alaihe Wasallam) said,
“Noble character dissolves sins just as salt dissolves ice, and evil character destroys worship just as vinegar destroys honey.” Rasulullah (Sallellaho Alaihe Wasallam) said, “The most beloved to me and the one closest to me in the hereafter will be the one whose character is good and the one most disliked by me and the most furthest away from me in the hereafter will be the one whose character is evil.” Rasulullah (Sallellaho Alaihe Wasallam) also said, “He who is deprived of softness, has been deprived of all goodness.” Noble Characteristics:
• Repentance • Patience • Gratitude • Fear • Hope • Disinclination from the world • Modesty • Trust in Allah Ta'ala • Love of Allah Ta'ala • Desire to meet Allah Ta'ala • Seeking the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala in one’s worship (i.e. sincerity in fulfilling of worship according to Sunnah referred to as Sidq) • Keeping this thought in mind that Allah Ta'ala is watching us,which is called muraqabah. • To take stock of one’s good and evil actions daily. • Pondering over the creation of Allah Ta'ala • Attaining the recognition and greatness of Allah Ta'ala • Fulfilling of promises • Humility • Mercy and compassion • To be pleased on Allah Ta'ala’s decision • Tawakkul (trust in Allah Ta'ala) • Hilm (forbearance) • Tafweedh tasleem (handing over matters to Allah Ta'ala) • Yaqeen (conviction) My message to the Kashmiri youth is that they should live pious and purposeful lives. They should learn to convert the challenges into opportunities. No person will be successful until he learns the art of converting challenges into opportunities. Kashmiri youth like every other youth of world should become professionals and adopt true values of Islam.(Hazrat M.Sajad Nomani sahib db Message for kashmiri Youth )

Should it be possible for the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon whom) to be sent down into the world once again by God what would his reaction be on seeing the conduct and behavior and the general design of life of the community that passes today by the name of Muslim? And what advice and command would he give to such of his followers who still posses in their hearts some solicitude for the faith and whose souls have not yet frozen to and got completely bereft of devotion and allegiance to Islam? Sarcastic Without the least hesitation I can say that he will extremely be pained at the spectacle of utter moral and spiritual degeneration the bulk of Muslims present these days, as much as he was by the brutal treatment meted out to him by the people of Taif or by the savage assaults made by the callous Polytheists at Ohud. And his message to earnest concern for the Faith will be to dedicate themselves whole-heartedly to the task of improving and reforming the lamentable religious state of his Ummat and of breathing into it again the spirit of Faith and Islamic way of life. So, if you find yourself in agreement with me and your heart concurs with what I have said above you must resolve, here and how, and in all sincerity, to make this endeavour a part of your life. For my part, I am absolutely confident that it is the choicest way to earn the pleasure of God and the blessings of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and to make his soul happy.

Allah swt Mentions in Quran-
Has the Time not come for the believers that their hearts submit before the remembrance of Allah and the truth that has been revealed? They must not become like those to whom the Book was given before and then a long time passed and their hearts became hard. And many of them were transgressors.(57.16)
Allah addresses a particular group of individuals in this verse-those who have already been blessed with
the great gift of Emaan, yet who continue to disobey him.He is asking those believers who are involved in sins:"Has the time not come yet for you to abandon your life of sin and submit totally to My Commands?"It is as though He is asking:"When will you repent and enter into Islam fully?"

Rasoolulah Salalahu Aliehiwassalam Quotes Allah swt saying: O son of Adam!As long as you continue to call to me and have hope in me ,I will forgive your sins and i will not care{as to which sin or how many sins you committed}.O Son of Adam!if your sins were so great that they reached the sky,and then you asked me for forgiveness,I would forgive you!O son of Adam!If you came with sins that filled the earth, then met Me in the conditions that you did not ascribe partners to me ,i would grant you forgiveness that filled the Earth(Tirmidhi).
This Does not mean though that at the same time as hoping in the mercy and forgiveness of Allah,we continue living a life of sin.How can we say that Allah is forgiving and merciful and yet continue to do what we know will incur his displeasure and lead us towards the fire of Jahannam.
