"OH MY SISTER LISTEN TO A BROTHER'S YEARN"
by Brother Abdullah
O' My Sisters listen to a brothers’ yearn!
Have we not understood, what else is yet to learn!
To learn that utter disregard is what you earn. You earn, Yes u earn nothing, but the expression of lustful eyes feasting on your innocent behavior. Yes, your "innocent behavior" I call it !!, what else would you call it, when you yourself are hell-bent on inviting wolves to circle its prey.
The clothes you wear are decided by someone else and his thoughts you swallow whether it be through media or popular culture.
An earnest question pours out of my sincere heart, “When will you understand that becoming the way you do to please someone will only strip you away from your own individuality". You will be left with nothing but the pressure to be the most attractive, the most desirable, the most this… and the most that….
You would end but the expectations would never end and the left over would be a tattered soul in tattered clothes.
Rise up to the dignity!
That made women the bearer of humanity!
The rightful companion, the first teacher to an intellect, the pillar of society!
